The container platform must generate audit records when successful/unsuccessful logon attempts occur.
An XCCDF Rule
Description
<VulnDiscussion>The container platform and its components must generate audit records when successful and unsuccessful logon attempts occur. The information system can determine if an account is compromised or is in the process of being compromised and can take actions to thwart the attack. All the components must use the same standard so that the events can be tied together to understand what took place within the overall container platform. This must establish, correlate, and help assist with investigating the events relating to an incident, or identify those responsible.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
