Oracle WebLogic must be managed through a centralized enterprise tool.
An XCCDF Rule
Description
<VulnDiscussion>The application server can host multiple applications which require different functions to operate successfully but many of the functions are capabilities that are needed for all the hosted applications and should be managed through a common interface. Examples of enterprise wide functions are automated rollback of changes, failover and patching. These functions are often outside the domain of the application server and so the application server must be integrated with a tool, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, which is specific built to handle these requirements.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
