Oracle WebLogic must protect the confidentiality of applications and leverage transmission protection mechanisms, such as TLS and SSL VPN, when deploying applications.
Medium Severity
<VulnDiscussion>Preventing the disclosure of transmitted information requires that applications take measures to employ some form of cryptographic mechanism in order to protect the information during transmission. This is usually achieved through the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS), SSL VPN, or IPSEC tunnel. If the application server does not protect the application files that are created before and during the application deployment process, there is a risk that the application could be compromised prior to deployment.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
