Description
<VulnDiscussion>It is critical for the appropriate personnel to be aware if a system is at risk of failing to process logs as required. Log processing failures include software/hardware errors, failures in the log capturing mechanisms, and log storage capacity being reached or exceeded. Remediation - Manual Procedure
Establish and utilize a notification process for WebSphere log events or configure WebSphere to send log events alerts via email.
In the administrative console, navigate to Security >> Security auditing >> Audit monitor.
Select a "Monitor" notification from the dropdown box or create a new notification.
