The MQ Appliance network device access must automatically disable accounts after a 35-day period of account inactivity.
An XCCDF Rule
Description
<VulnDiscussion>Since the accounts in the MQ Appliance network device are privileged or system-level accounts, account management is vital to the security of the MQ Appliance network device. Inactive accounts could be reactivated or compromised by unauthorized users, allowing exploitation of vulnerabilities and undetected access to the MQ Appliance network device. This control does not include emergency administration accounts, which are meant for access to the MQ Appliance network device components in case of network failure.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
