Kernel panic oops
Medium Severity
Enable the kernel to panic when it oopses. This has the same effect as setting oops=panic on the kernel command line. The configuration that was used to build kernel is available at
/boot/config-*
. To check the configuration value for
CONFIG_PANIC_ON_OOPS
, run the following command:
grep CONFIG_PANIC_ON_OOPS /boot/config-*
For each kernel installed, a line with value "y" should be returned.
