The Kubernetes kubelet KubeConfig must have file permissions set to 644 or more restrictive.
An XCCDF Rule
Description
<VulnDiscussion>The Kubernetes kubelet agent registers nodes with the API Server, mounts volume storage for pods, and performs health checks to containers within pods. If these files can be modified, the information system would be unaware of pod or container degradation. Many of the security settings within the document are implemented through this file.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
