The macOS system must disable Unix-to-Unix Copy Protocol (UUCP) service.
Medium Severity
<VulnDiscussion>The system must not have the UUCP service active. UUCP, a set of programs that enables sending files between different Unix systems and sending commands to be executed on another system, is not essential and must be disabled to prevent unauthorized connection of devices, transfer of information, and tunneling. NOTE: UUCP service is disabled at startup by default with macOS.</VulnDiscussion><FalsePositives></FalsePositives><FalseNegatives></FalseNegatives><Documentable>false</Documentable><Mitigations></Mitigations><SeverityOverrideGuidance></SeverityOverrideGuidance><PotentialImpacts></PotentialImpacts><ThirdPartyTools></ThirdPartyTools><MitigationControl></MitigationControl><Responsibility></Responsibility><IAControls></IAControls>
